Our Story
Crystal Images has been a fixture at Big Sky Resort for over 30 years, founded and built by Marshall and Janice Tate. Throughout their decades of operation, Crystal Images became a family favorite for guests and locals alike, capturing memories that last a lifetime.
In November of 2025, the Tates decided to retire and sell the business to long-time employee Oren Lewkowski. Oren spent many years working in the sales space managing the operation. Under his guidance he has revolutionized Crystal Images online presence with a new storefront, while updating many aspects of the business like decreasing photo costs and creating a more user friendly experience.
We specialize in outdoor recreation photography at Big Sky Resort and pride ourselves in delivering high quality, professional photos for every guest who walks through our door or skis past our lens.
